On July 8, 2020, the acetic acid recovery tower, the core equipment of Jiangsu hailun Petrochemical 1.2 million T / a PTA project undertaken by Shenyang Donfon Titanium Industry Co., Ltd., was successfully shipped from our company's Huludao Beigang special material reassembly base. The two equipment shipped this time are made of titanium steel composite plate, with a net diameter of 6m, a total length of 62m and a total weight of nearly 450 tons. Meanwhile, the other two 5.5m diameter acetic acid recovery towers in the project have also entered the stage of final appearance treatment and general inspection, and will be shipped before the 31st of this month.

PTA, also known as terephthalic acid, is one of the important bulk organic raw materials. Its main purpose is to produce polyester fiber (polyester), polyester film and polyester bottle. It is widely used in all aspects of the national economy such as chemical fiber, light industry, electronics and construction, and is closely related to the national economy and the people's livelihood. The four acetic acid recovery towers manufactured by our company are the key core equipment in the PTA energy saving and consumption reduction technical transformation project of Jiangsu hailun Petrochemical under Sanfangxiang group. In this technical transformation project, acetic acid, an important solvent in PTA production process, can be effectively recovered and recycled through acetic acid recovery tower (high pressure method), which can greatly improve the utilization rate of acetic acid and effectively reduce the production cost, And this technical transformation is China's independent process technology, which is of great significance to the domestic PTA industry.

Acetic acid recovery tower is one of the equipment with the most complex structure and the highest manufacturing accuracy requirements in PTA project, and its future service conditions have the characteristics of high temperature, high pressure and high corrosion. In addition, the customer has an urgent project construction period, so it has high requirements for the quality control of equipment manufacturing process and project progress control.
